Our Real Estate Investment Group is an opportunistic real estate principal investing vehicle of the firm. The group consists of an experienced team of real estate professionals within various areas of expertise including office, retail, hospitality, leisure and multifamily. The team’s mandate is to produce superior risk-adjusted returns through joint venture equity investments in partnership with premier real estate companies. Typical investment opportunities provide value-enhancement or value-creation potential over three to seven year investment horizons. The group manages the series of global opportunistic real estate funds, and other niche real estate related products. Through the primary real estate investment vehicles, the group makes direct investments, offers our clients the opportunity to co-invest with our firm in real estate and real estate related assets worldwide with strong covenants.
The group seeks to maintain a geographically diverse portfolio of real estate in core and secondary markets having strong economic and demographic fundamentals. Our broad network of relationships, team-based analytical approach, flexible yet disciplined structure, and streamlined approval process allow us to capitalize on intrinsic real estate value both during times of capital market dislocation as well as during times of stability.
- Our investment product suite will include real estate companies, projects, loan portfolios, debt recapitalizations and direct property.
- Our real estate fund management team will on behalf of the Limited Partners construct portfolios which will be diversified by geography, with investments throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
- Our team’s combined global experience and contacts will provide our Limited Partners with access to high quality deal flow across a broad range of developed and emerging markets with product types including hospitality, retail, office, leisure and multifamily.
